Justin's First Ever Christmas Program

Hey Everyone! Well we had quite an eventful week here in the Bernard household.
I have been sick since we got back from Wisconsin, and last week, my poor Lucas had a double ear infection, on top of the wicked bad cold he has. Lucas and I have just been two little sick peas in a pod. He is starting to feel better, I however, can not seem to shake it.
We put up our tree and decorate it, a week or so a go. The boys were showing their dancing skills to Christmas Carols. It was HILARIOUS! Lucas is saying so much now, he asks me every morning to turn the Christmas tree on.

Justin had his Christmas program on Friday night. He DID so well. He did not seem to know a lot of the words, but he never got freaked out on stage or anything with all those people there he did not know. I was so proud of him. We got there early to get a good seat, and when we told him it was time to by his class and Miss Irena, he said okay, bye! it was a bittersweet moment for mom. I was crying as soon as I saw my little man on stage. I would really appreciate if he would stop growing up so fast, but he just does not seem to want to cooperate on that.

And that pretty much wraps up our week. We found out on Friday night, that John and Sarah sold their house, so we are anxiously awaiting their arrival here. We are so looking forward to spending the holidays together.

Robert and I are also moving out of my in-laws HOPEFULLY by Feb. 1st. We have appointments to look at houses on Wednesday afternoon. I want to be closer to my friends and we both want to be closer to family. So we are going to be going to Calvary Baptist Church. Which is also bittersweet, while we look forward to going to church with family, we are also very very fond of our church, and the wonderful people we have met there.

So in my wrap up... here are some videos and a picture slide show.

Happy Holidays to EVERYONE! Lots of Love from the Bernards! MUAH! Turn the volume up on your computer.

Thanksgiving In Wisconsin etc...

Well it has been a while since I posted. Holy cow I have been so busy.
We drove home (21 hours) to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. It was such a wonderful visit. I got some good quality time with my family, had a kid free couple nights, got to hang out with my BFF and some great quality time with her. It was very hard saying goodbye. I love visiting Wisconsin, and I hate saying goodbye, but I sure was glad to be back home in Maine. I feel SO SO SO much safer here.

Robert and I are FINALLY getting our own place. We are trying to find one in the Turner, Auburn, Lewiston, Lisbon area. Etc. We are hoping to be out by February at the latest.

This past week we got to see John, Sarah, and Grayson. It was so nice to see them and hang out and of course get to love on Grayson. We went to Calvary on Friday night to see Toya cheer, and socialize basically. It was a great time.

I had a girls day on Saturday with my sisters-in-law and Heidi who may as well be related. I swear we laughed so hard all day on Saturday my stomach muscles still hurt. It was such a wonderful day. So things ae going well. Not much new major to report. Justin has his first program on Friday night with his preschool, I am so excited about that. Robert has finally been able to switch his work schedule so he no longer works on Sundays, now we can go to church on Sunday mornings together, we both want to go to Sunday school in the adult class, so it is going to be nice to have my husband with me in church again. YAY!

I am attaching some pictures of Thanksgiving and John and Sarah's visit.

Love you all and have a great holiday season.

Cassie's Week in Review!

Well I am glad to say, that really nothing is new in the land of the boys. Oh except for less than a week after Justin got his shiner, Lucas ran in to the corner of the wall and had a HUGE bruise on his forehead. I guess they did not learn, to not run in the house.

We did run into some car issues this week. Robert noticed on Tuesday I think, that cord was showing on one of our tires. So he called around got a decent price on a new used tire, and we replaced the tire. Well he had a hunting trip planned for the weekend, we figured things out, and it would be tight, but he was still going to be able to go hunting after we replaced the tire. He got home, went in to the garage, comes out, and notices that ANOTHER tire was showing cord. So needless to say we had to relace that tire, and his hunting trip was cancelled.
He was disappointed, but what can you do?

So Saturday I had the Ladies Conference in Turner at Calvary, and had plans to ride to our church with my next door neighbor, and then we were going to ride the bus with the other ladies from our church. Well I get to my neighbors house, and her babysitter could not babysit. So my WONDERFUL husband babysat my neighbors two little girls, who are about the same age as Lucas and Justin. Rebecca and Justin are about six months a part, but Lucas and Rachel are only 1 month apart.
I had a GREAT time at the Ladies Conference, the speakers were fantastic, I got to meet some new people, I got to see Stacy and Mary, and it was just a great time. I learned a lot.

Yesterday was Old Fashioned day my church. None of us really had any old fashioned clothes, but I did do my hair super cute. Anyway... service in the morning, was so up beat, and the songs were really a lot of fun to sing. The service in the evening was earlier, because we had a party after in the school's gym. It was so much fun. Service was at 5:00 p.m. and we did not get home until 9:30 p.m. it was still going when we left, but the boy's were exhausted. I was in a three legged race with my neighbor, and Robert and I were in a couples contest. I am proud to say my neighbor and I came in first for the three legged race, and Robert and I tied for third place in the couples game.

I leave for Wisconsin a week from tomorrow, and to say I am excited would be a HUGE understatement! I can not wait to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are also excited to see John and Sarah when we get back from Wisconsin, and to meet our adorable nephew Grayson for the first time!

School is going well, I am averaging 98% right now, and I am hoping to finish a couple more lessons if not the class before I leave for Wisconsin!

Love you all!
Hugs,
Cassie

Halloween and my first week of school!

Well this week was a productive week, and kind of busy. Monday night Justin got his shiner, which has only progressivly looked worse through out the week. His preschool teacher thought he has make-up left on from Halloween. He is a trooper though. He is feeling and acting fine. I got my school books on Monday, and I started studying right away. I am going to be starting my 4th lesson, and I have recieved a 100% on my first three tests that I have taken. It's hard. Trying to balance being a mom, and making time for myself to study. I have to stay that all three of my boys have been very good about everything, and Robert especially is my biggest fan. He is cheering me on, all the way.
I have had a lot less idle time this week, for surfing the internet, emailing, and keeping up with my myspace. I feel better and more productive though.
In the end, I will be able to provide a better life style for my family, and that is my motivation.
Trick or treating was a HUGE success. Lucas was a little nut. There was no fear what so ever. He was running from house to house, screaming trick or treat! He caught on real quick that he got candy for looking cute and saying trick or treat.
So it was a good week all around. I am counting down the days until I go home.
WOOT!

That's about all. I am attaching a slide show, and a little video of Lucas saying trick or treat!

Justin got a shiner!

Poor Justin he has his mother's grace, or lack there of. Maybe he will actually listen when I tell him NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE!

Also after buying Lucas' halloween costume, I found this one my friend sent me.
Oh well.... they make cute pj's.

There is another post below this one, from last week's Harvest Party.

Harvest Parties

Hello! Well Justin had his first school party this week. They had a harvest party on Friday. Even though Justin does not go to school on Friday's, he could come to the party as long as I stayed at the party with him. Well Justin's class during the week is not all that big, because preschool is broke up into blocks. Well on Friday their were about 20 kids their, and a lot of parents. SO needless to say, Justin acted very shy. I did convince him to do some things like he normall would.

Friday night our church was having a Harvest Party. Well we have not gone to church for a few weeks, because Robert's work schedule has been so crazy. Someone quit, so he has been picking up the hours. Okay first of all, our next door neighbor stopped by to tell us about the party. So we go on Friday night, I am wearing jeans and a nice sweater, well we walk in and I notice that every single woman is wearing a skirt. So... I felt very out of place and uncomfortable. Also I am very very shy, and uncomfortable around big groups of people, and people that I do not know all that well. So Robert played games, which were very very funny to watch. The boy's got to do a pinata, and it was really a good time. I did cave in and joined a group of people for a very active game of chair volleyball. My next door neighbor introduced me to some women in the church, which was very nice. So they convinced me to come by myself on Sunday's when Robert can not come. Let me tell you going to church this morning, without my husband was so hard. First of all, I already feel like a part of me is missing when I am not with him, and he is my rock. You know? I am okay as long as he is with me holding my hand. But I always tell Justin he has to be brave in situations he is not comfortable with. So I went to the young adult bible class this morning (by myself), and to church this morning (by myself). One of the woman that I met on Friday night, asked me to come sit with her so I was not all by myself. While I am glad that I went, I still felt very lost sitting their with out my husband.
I am going to go to the ladies conference in Turner if I can get a babysitter for the boy's. I am looking forward to getting to know other women in my church and in Maine, really. I have heard that so many of them enjoy the conference so much, and they said it is really heart warming. So I am praying that I able to find a babysitter.

Oh yeah, I also found out this weekend what a small world Maine is. Ha Ha. I ran in to lady at the craft fair at our church on Saturday who knows Sarah, her mom, and her sister Stacy. The ladies daughter went to school with Stacy. Her name is Miranda. So I am suppose to tell Sarah, Stacy, and Mary, Hello from Miranda's mom!

Back to Friday night, other than me being the only woman not in a skirt. I am a jeans and a sweatshirt kind of girl. I have two boys, wearing a skirt all the time is just not practical. Anyway... the games they played were so fun. They played tug a intertube, which I took two videos of. In one of the games, Robert had a good hold on the intertube, and pastor was listerally trying to pull Robert off of the intertube. It was hilarious. So I hope you enjoy the pictures and the videos.

I did go to church this evening with my husband and the boys. It was so nice. Just to be there and hear the word of God with my whole family. It was nice to have Robert right beside me holding my hand.
I started writing this blog early in the day, and now it's almost nine. SO I was able to find a babysitter for my boys, and will have the privelage to attend the Ladies Conference in Turner. I am truly looking forward to that.

I hope everyone is doing well. Jordan I hope that you are starting to get some comfort.

Have a good week.
Cassie

The Portland Headlight

HELLO everyone! Well Saturay was a BEAUTIFUL day. We decided not to go to Pumpkin Land, because for all of us to go it would have been 25.00 to get in. The boys already had carved a pumpkin, so the only reason we would have been going is to just play. So we decided to take them to the Portland Headlight to explore. It was so much fun. The kids loved climbing in the rocks and running around. They both passed out on the ride home. It was such a pretty day out. It was 70 degrees, and very little breeze. The colors down by the ocean on the leaves, were so beautiful.
I tried to get some "scenic" pictures of the boys in the autumn surroundings.

Here are some pictures from our day yesterday. I hope everyone is doing well.

Love,
Cassie

It's been a little while.

Hey everyone! Well I realized that it's been a little bit since I have posted anything. Well really there is not much going on. We have literally been battaling colds in this house for two weeks. Justin is doing GREAT in pre-school. He loves going to school, he is already writing letters on his own at home. So far the ones' he does really well are T, J, and F. He asked me the other day, why he can't go to school every day like some of the other kids. If preschool was not so expensive, I would put him, because he has just excelled so much in every day life since starting school. I can not sing the praises of this preschool enough! They are a Christian based preschool, and they are WONDERFUL! The teachers make a point to talk to every parent every day. They teach the kids the pledge of allegiance, bible stories, patriotic songs. I love where he goes to school. If anyone in Maine is reading this, it's A Joyful Noise, in Windham.

Lucas had a odd rash develop this week. I thought for sure he had the chicken pox, we took him to the Dr. on Monday. The Dr. said and I quote, "He has a viral rash, we don't know what it is, but it's contagious, and it will last 5-7 days. There is nothing you can do to treat it, but it's definitly not chicken pox". Tell me how this makes sense? All the advances in the Medical Field, and I get a dumb response like that? Seriously?

We are (weather permitting), taking the kids to Pumpkin Land this weekend. SO I will be able to post some new pictures of the kids soon. I have been occupied with scrapbooking a lot lately. It's my new passion/hobby. I am finally going to put to use 20 years of crazy picture taking!

Well that is about all for now. I hope everyone is enjoying their Autumn. I can honestly say with the exception of colds running rampant in the house, this has been a BEAUTIFUL autumn. Maine is so pretty this time of year, the mountains take your breath away.

Oh and ONE MORE MONTH and I get to go home and hug and love on my nephews, brother, parents, and my BFF! I can NOT wait to go home.

Alright... I am out! Stacy, I am keeping you and Jordan in my prayers.

The Num Num Song....

So this week, we had Jillie's birthday. Her party was a couple weeks a go, but Monday was her actual birthday. So since Auntie was babysitting her and her brother, we decided to take Jillie out for a birthday dinner. I had the wonderful staff at Friendlys sing happy birthday to her. She loved it. They sent her home with a HUGE bouquet of balloons.

Also this week, I finally got Lucas on camera singing his num num song. Since he was about 18 months he would quite often do this after he ate his dinner.
I think it is him thanking me for such a wonderful dinner.. LOL! Anyway... I FINALLY got him on camera doing it.

So I am putting in some pictures of Jillies birthday dinner, and Lucas singing video.

ENJOY!

Love ya!
Cass

Fryeburg Fair

Well we had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday night we went up to Rumford for Robert's cousin's homecoming football game at Mountain Valley High. IT was pretty cool, to be where Robert went to high school. It is still strange for me seeing what a big deal some things are. I swear most of the town was at the football game4, that so NEVER would have happened in Milwaukee. It was so bad in some parts of Milwaukee that we could not have our football games at night. Our homecoming game was always on Saturday morning. I don't know if I will ever get use to it, but I have to say it's kind of cool. It's like stuff you see in Movies (like Varsity Blues), except it's real life. Anyway... Justin loves going to see Nathan play football. So Nathan came over after the game and talked to Justin, well Justin got so shy, it was so cute.
Saturday we just ran a couple errands and had some down time as a family. Robert had to work on Saturday evening, so we just wanted to spend time together. After Robert left, I took the boys out to dinner. It was so nice to spend some time alone with them. Although, I kept getting sympathetic looks from other "families", because I was by myself. And I was in heaven having a "date" with my two boys. We surprised Robert at work with some dinner from Friendly's, and we were able to take his break with him. The boys were so happy about that.

Yesterday we took the boys and Jillian to the Fryeburg Fair. It was an okay day. Justin woke up in a "mood", and when he is like that, him and Robert go at it. So, it was not as much fun as I was hoping. Oh well, you can't have perfect days all the time. But their were brief moments of good times, and I got some cute pictures of all of them.

So here we go with out current slide show.

Justin and his dancing ....

So when I clean the kitchen I always have the radio on. Usually Justin comes in to the kitchen and does these crazy dances. Of course I never have a camera ready. Well today I was able to capture some of Justin's "signature" moves. Justin Timberlake has NOTHING on Justin Bernard.

Family Pictures

So, last night we had our family pictures/pictures of the boys done. We try and do the boys picture every year around their birthday. We realized that we did not have a family photo done since Lucas was like three months old. SO four our anniversary Robert told me I could get the pictures done. I also decided to take Jillian along, #1, because I babysit her, #2, because she asked, and #3, because I wanted to surprise Tanya with a really nice picture of Jillian.
Well I have to say all things considered it went well. We take them to Kiddie Kandids inside Babys R Us, because they are really geared towards children. Everything is little kid size, the photographers are great working with kids, and you get the pictures the same day. So I really like it their. Well of course they were running behind schedule, I made the kids all take naps so they were "happy" for pictures, but they were wound up instead. We had Jillian go first since she is the antsiest (not sure if it's a word), and she did great. Then we did the family picture, we all did pretty well for that, I don't really care for the picture, because of how I look, but the boys all look good. We wanted a couple pictures of the boys together, Lucas was great, but Justin kept squintiing his eyes when he smiled or sticking his tounge out when he smiled, I am not really sure where he got that from, but whatever. We got a couple of cute shots. I personally like and prefer pictures that capture their personality, instead of perfectly posed pictures. So the pictures I picked out, do that. When we are at home, Justin poses perfectly, smiles beautifully, and all around loves having his picture taken. Well last night, he kept doing the wierd funny smiles, or would just not be looking at the camera. It took the poor photographer like 10 shots, before she got one good one of Justin. Then Lucas gets up there. When we are at home I have to take like 100 good pictures to get a good one of Lucas. TWO SHOTS. That is how many it took her last night. The first one he blinked. Seriously that kid smiled on cue. So my boys reversed rolls last night.

So that is the story of getting our new pictures done. We are sending them out for Christmas this year. So if you read my blog, and are wondering where your picture is, wait for Santa!

Hugs and love to all!!!!
Here is a slide show of the pictures. Leave comments and tell me your HONEST opinion of the family picture. Oh, it is edited so you don't see mine or Robert's legs very much at all in the picture. So in our picture that we got, it looks a tad different.

Here we go..........

Thank You Uncle John and Auntie Sarah

We made a video of Justin saying thank you for the birthday gifts from Auntie Sarah and Uncle John, since they could not see the boys. We also made a video for everyone to hear Lucas' new words that he is saying.

Love to all of you!

Justin and Lucas' Birthday Party

Well Justin and Lucas' birhtday party was a S-U-C-C-E-S-S!!! All 16 of the kids that were invited showed up. It was a great party. It was a bit hard for me, since this is the first year we did not have a party with my family and friends in Wisconsin. I truly missed my best friends' help, and my mom's calming effots. That being said... I had a great team of people who did help. Robert and Kayla were a huge help with setting up and running the games with me. Aunt Sally and April were there early and pitched in to help set up as well. So a big THANK YOU to them!
My step-mother-in-law, mother-in-law, and step-father-in-law, and Sarah's sister Stacy all stayed after the party to help with the clean up efforts. So A HUGE thank you to them. The boys were spoiled rotten. We came home, pack up all the old toys in the living room, after they went to bed, and then opened and set up all the new toys. They have been playing all day. Mommy and Daddy, have been having a lot of fun playing with the boys as well.

We did a Spider Walk, Pin the SPider on the SPider Web, and we had a Pinata. The kids seemed to have a really great time. Mommy was pooped when it was all done.

I am attaching a slide show, and two videos taken at the party.

Thank you again to all who helped! The party would not have ran as smoothly with out everyone's help!

Justins First Day of School

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT! Today he is 29!
Well saying goodbye to my parents last week pretty much sucked. We had a wonderful visit, but it's like saying goodbye for the first time all over again. UGH!
I was pretty down on Friday all day. I am doing better now.
On Sunday we took the kids to the Lancaster Fair in New Hampshire. It was such a BEAUTIFUL drive. We drove the white mountains valley. And low and behold we saw not one but two mooses. A mommy and baby moose.

Today was Justin's first day of pre-school. I got him up early (he was not a fan of that), got him in first day of school outfit, got him upstairs to brush his teeth and wanted me to spike his hair. So I am getting him ready to go I am expecting him to tell me any minute now, that he does not want to go. Nope, gets his back pack on, reminds me to grab his lunch and out the door he goes. So we get him to preschool, and NOW for sure the tears and drama is going to come, him wanting mt to not leave him there. NOPE... he comes up to Robert he says let me give you a hug and kiss goodbye. I am choking back tears. He comes up to me, says bye mom, gives me a hug and kiss, and starts playing and talking to his teacher. SERIOUSLY????? I stayed at home with him for 4 years, and that's all I get. YEP. Justin is a big boy now, pretty soon he is going to move out and be married. So I got in the car and SOBBED. My baby is all grown up. I am very anxious to go pick him up and see how his first day was. Think maybe he missed me?

Here is a slide show of the weekend, and Justin this morning.

Love ya!

Fun times at Storyland

Okay, so today was not only the boys first trip to Storyland in New Hampshire, but mine as well. I have to say, it's just as cute in person as it is online and on T.V. It's 35 acres. HOLY COW! We got there I would say about 9:30 a.m. and did not leave until 5:30 p.m. There is so much there for the kids to do, it was so awesome. There were only 4 rides that Lucas was an inch shy of being able to go on. SO he did not miss much at all. It was a great day. The weather was beautiful, almost too warm, and the kids had a blast. For that matter so did Bama. They have been spoiling all of us rotten this week. It was a really nice day. Here is a slide show of some of the fun moments.
Justin is haveing a sleep over at Bama's hotel tonight. OMG, he was so excited.
Now I am having issues getting Lucas to sleep without Justin being in the bedroom with him. Go figure! I am so tired, all I want to do is sleep and Lucas is still up. Mind you he has only had a half hour nap today. THAT'S IT. The boys ran, and ran, and ran today.

Bama and Justin reunited!!!

Well my mom and dad arrived around noon this past Sunday. The 26th. To say that Justin was excited would be a HUGE understatement. It's probably the only time since I moved to Maine, that I almost thought I made a mistake. See the two of them hugging and my mom crying, and it was heart-breaking. That being said, I am not moving. So no worries there. He would not let go of my mom for a second. It was so cute. He had to ride with Bama, sit next to Bama, hold Bama's hand. He was so afraid to let go. My dad is with my mother, but Justin and my mom just have a really strong/tight kind of bond. I was very happy to see my parents. We have our ups and our downs, but they are still mom and dad, and I was very happy to see them and hug them.
Sunday we just went to lunch together, before Robert went to work. For those who don't know, Robert apparently had issues with me working outside of the home, so he decided to take the job that I took. I told him I wanted the extra money so we could get our own house sooner. So he took it.
Anyway, Sunday we just hung out here at the house. I had made my dad cookies, and I made my parents enchiladas for dinner (their favorite thing I make). We had a nice and relaxing evening. They were pooped (had been up since 3:30 a.m.), so they left and went to their hotel around 7.

Well my dad called me and woke me up at 6:45 a.m. Cassie was less than thrilled to be up that early, but hey, how often do they come into town. So we got up and got ready. We went out to breakfast and headed up to Reid state park. After we got lost and finally made it to the park, it seemed like we had been in the car for like 3 days. Anyway... it was a pretty, pretty, day, and it was just beautiful along the coast. Dad treated us to a lobster dinner, and then we headed back home. We did a lot of rock climbing and walking along the shore. It was so beautiful. My mom loves to bird-watch so she got to see quite a few things she does not get to see back home. We were sad though, because my mom did not get to see a Puffin. Oh well!

They decided to take a day to themselves today, so we should probably see them sometime tonight. My parents are taking the boy's birthday present shopping tomorrow, I almost feel bad for them, they have NO idea what they are in for.
Robert works tonight and tomorrow night, so it's just going to be me and the kids hanging out with them. Thursday I don't know what we are doing, but I am having a special dinner for them on their last night here. I am so glad that they were able to make the trip out here.
They hate all the driving to get here and there in Maine, but they have commented over and over agaiin, how beautiful it is here.

Here is a slide show of the past two days.

Enjoy!

Vacation Bible School...

Hello Everyone!
Well last week was Vacation Bible School. It was a very traumatic experience for us. We got Justin ready on Monday morning, he was fired up to go. He was ready. I go to drop him off, and he starts screaming, and hanging on to me for dear life. I am doing good, I am fine. Teacher comes by me, says let me know if you are ready to go, and I will take him. She took him I left him. I was good. I go to pick him up, and he did not want to come home. I thought, HEY, this is GREAT. The next morning the bus drops him off after school, and I could see the little tear stains on his cheek. I said what happened, well the Devil came to school that day. It scared the crap out of him. He refused to go back after that. I made him go the next day, but he ended up in the nursery, and I was not going to make him get up early to hang out in the nursery.

So after much thinking and pondering, I have decided to put Justin in a pre-school program three 1/2 days a week. I think it's time for him to be away from me a little bit. I was going to just home school him to get him ready for 5 year old kindgergarten, which is what I really wanted to do, but after all we went through, I think we both will do better if he at leasts gets some exposure to a school like atmosphere. So yesterday I registered Justin for pre-school, and I cried. I cried while we were there, when we got outside of the place. I called my best friend and sobbed. I knew one day he would go to school, what I was not prepared for was that awful feeling in the pit of my stomach that I was going to feel when I realized I am going to be starting the letting go process. He has been with me since he was born. I was just overcome with emotion. I did not realize how I would feel, and how sad I would feel.

So I am just attaching a slide show of some fun moments with the boys the past couple of weeks. Just press play and enjoy the pictures!

Love and miss you all!

Hot and Humid in July....

Hello Family and Friends!

Well first of all I would like to start off by saying... HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY to my dad! Today he is 5 years closer to the senior citizens discount... LOL! I love you dad! I hope you had a FANTASTIC birthday!

Well for once we actually had a pretty uneventful week and weekend. Our computer officially died. It has been quite ill for some time now. It was old, and tired. It no longer wanted to down load stuff quickly, made visiting websites (such as John and Sarah's) very difficult and frustrating. So Robert, FINALLY gave in, and we got a new computer. YAY HONEY!!!!!!!!!

This weeks had some high points (for the boy's) and low points (for me).

Well I decided to get a part time job. I got hired at Walgreen's in the photo department. YAY ME! Extra money for the new computer that we just got, and scrapbooking supplies.

So I had to go for a drug test and I FINALLY became at State of Maine citizen. I gave in and got a Maine drivers license. I guess it's official, I will not be leaving here anytime soon... LOL!

While we were gone running those errands, Memere kept the boy's for us.

When I came home that day, Lucas (who previously would cry), was jumping in the pool in to Memere's arms. He kept doing it. SO YAY LUCAS! I was so proud of him.

The following day I decided to continue to work with Lucas in the pool, and with the help of a life jacket and water wings, he will now swim by himself in the water. NO MOMMY! I was so proud of him.
Friday night I took Justin and went grocery shopping. Well..... when I came home, Robert had taken down Lucas' crib (low point for me), and put of his toddler bed. So Lucas is officially sleeping in a big boy bed. Yet another step away from being a baby. Sad day for mommy.

Sunday morning, we heard the boy's over the monitor talking. Then all of a sudden the decided to come see mommy and daddy in bed. They do not know we heard them. So it was so cute, they came trotting in to our bedroom togther, Lucas with his Tigger, and Justin with Super Man Rhino, and climbed in bed with mommy and daddy. It was the cutest thing... they are such big boys. But sad for me... I no longer have babies... SNIFF SNIFF!

That is about it for our week. I hope everyone is doing well. We are hoping Sarah has her baby soon, because we are tired of waiting to see what sex baby she is going to have.... LOL!

Below are pictures of Lucas sleeping in his big boy bed.

My First Trip to Rangely

Well I have been hearing about the "alleged" moose that roam around Maine since we moved here in September. Robert was determined to see a moose this weekend. We decided to take the afternoon on Saturday and head up to Rangely. Up on the mountain.... I was "sure" to see a moose. So we had a very nice afternoon up in Rangely. Around 8:30 we decided to head down the mountain and head back home. Well we did not see ONE SINGLE MOOSE. I of course think that this is hysterical. So I look over at Robert and see that he is upset. I asked him what was wrong, and he was upset that we did not run in to one single moose. So he said he wanted to turn around and go back up the mountain. I said "if that will make you happy". So we turned around and went all the way back up the mountain and started our trek back down. Finally saw something move... alas I saw a moose's butt. Robert was excited, I saw a moose. A little further down the mountain, we saw another deer. Stopped and looked at her looking at us. It was so cool, and so quiet. It was neat. Well we kept going down the mountain, and Robert said LOOK! over there! There was a moose and she stopped. And we stopped the car and looked at her for couple minutes. I did not see a moose with antlers, just a girl moose. It was cool and the perfect end to our nice day. I did not get a picture of the moose, because by this time it was too dark.

What a week!

Well as a lot of you know, Robert flipped his four wheeler on Friday night.
He is okay, THANK GOD, and when I say that, I mean I have seriously THANKED GOD
several times, that I made him wear a helmet. He got banged up pretty bad, and is bruised almost everywhere, but he is here, he is alive, and other than whining about the pain he is
good. My sister-in-law Kayla came down to help me with the kids while I tended to Robert and
his wounds. Again, THANK GOD she came down. Lucas got the flu at 4 in the morning Monday, and proceeded to give it to everyone except Kayla. I was out of commission all day yesterday with the flue. WHO gets the stomach flu in July? MY KIDS!
Big excitement of the week, and a touch sad for me. Justin rode the bus ALL BY HIMSELF to Sunday School on Sunday and he went to Sunday school instead of the nursery. He just left did not even turn around until I called his name to turn around and give me a hug. He was fine, I was in tears. My baby is rapidly becoming less of a baby.
